Announcements
(august 2008)
welcome back!
I hope you have all enjoyed your summer and are eagerly looking
forward to music lessons beginning again in fall. I am excited
to see you again.
Lessons will resume beginning during the week of September 9
- 13. Prior to the end of August, you should each be receiving
a letter
or an email from me, with all the pertinent information
regarding your lessons for this year. If you do not receive this,
please contact me and I will get it out to you.
A special welcome to the new students to Judy's House of Music.
They include: Charlotte, Julia, William, Joanne, Chris, Evelyn,
Sierra, Andrew, Leo, Lauren and Tracy. I hope that you become
'hooked' on music during the upcoming year.
Fall Registration
Currently, I am fully booked for lessons for the fall of 2012.
If you, or someone you know, would like to book lessons in the
future, please
phone or
email
me to be put on a waiting list.
SICKNESS
Please avoid coming to lessons if you are not well. Pinkeye, the flu, colds,
and various other diseases, are very contagious -- do NOT attend your
lesson if
you
suspect
you have pinkeye. If you take your child to see the doctor for a sickness,
ask whether or not they should attend their lesson. Remember to wash your hands
before your lesson. Hopefully we can minimize the spread of diseases throughout
this
year.
SUNDAY AT SEVEN BROCHURE
The Sunday at Seven concert series begins on Sunday, September
30 at 7 p.m. in the College Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church
(on campus). Two international winners perform in one concert!

String Quartet Competition of 2012, as well as Georgy Tchaidze,
First Laureate, Honens International Piano Competition 2009,
will present the first concert of the year.
Students - earn 100 bonus points by attending concerts such
as this...
Let your teacher know if you attend
a concert, and you will receive an additional 100 bonus points.
Unfortunately, pop music concerts do not qualify for these bonus
points.
Be a Good neighbor
Please remember to be a good neighbor -- do not block neighbors'
driveways, do not walk across their lawns, and be quiet as you
approach or leave the studio, especially in the evening. Also,
please do not block my driveway, as my family members often need
to park in the driveway or leave during lesson times.

NOTES
OF INTEREST
* Welcome back from summer holidays. Let me know where
you went and I'll post it in these notes .
* My family & I spent a week at our church camp-meeting
early in July. This was a time of spiritual renewal and was greatly
appreciated. In late July, Terry and part of the family celebrated
his father's 105th birthday in Saskatchewan. In early August, Terry
& I traveled to Kelowna with all of my family to celebrate my parents'
60th wedding anniversary. We are blessed to enjoy
the
love and
wisdom of my parents yet,
and enjoyed visiting with many relatives and friends over the weekend.
* Alyssa and Abi traveled with their family
to Russia to enjoy renewing acquaintances, to encourage believers
there and to do some sight-seeing..
* Torey and her family welcomed a precious baby girl, Kalley,
to their family in late July.
* Kayla enjoyed attending camp-meeting in early July. She
also flew to Texas for a mini-vacation in July - where she says
it was a 'gentle hot'.
* Please let me know if something new or exciting happens
to you.
