music festival 2013


Registration for the 2013 festival must be submitted on or before January 14. It is my goal to discuss possible music festival entries prior to the Christmas break and fill out the entry forms - but the entry forms will be submitted after the Christmas Break. Please be prepared to decide whether or not you or your child will participate in the Festival by Christmas time. Fees will be due during the first week of lessons in January.

The Festival will take place in various venues in our town throughout March 4 - 7 and 11 - 13. Students should be preparing their pieces in anticipation of this event. The pre-Festival recital will be held on February 16 to prepare students for the Festival. (Always double check Recital date and time closer to the date.)

Help is needed to conduct the local Festival. Without volunteer assistance, it would be impossible to hold the festival. Please call me to find out how you may be of assistance. Bonus points will be awarded to students whose parents, relatives or friends help out in the Festival - as well as to those who help out themselves (for older students). Currently, two parents are serving on the Festival Committee, and one parent is doing volunteer work for the Committee. Four of the other Committee members are parents of former students of Judy's House of Music. Thank-you to all of you for your hard work to make the Festival a success each year.
